Feast Watson has a range of traditional oil based finishes that enhance and promote the natural beauty of timber, parquetry and cork floors.  Each of these products allow for individual board movement, which means that edge bonding will not occur. The major benefits and difference between each of the products are summarised in the table below.

* The gloss level of the Tung Oil finish will vary from a satin to a gloss depending of the number of coats and the porosity on the timber.

^ Solvent based finishes can contribute to edge bonding on brand new floors.  Therefore, it is recommended to use a water based or an oil based finish on brand new floors.
